Private charter of a 43 ft. sailboat with skipper and sailor for up to 8 people. All meals are included with the 'catch of the day' featured on at least one daily meal. Brought up on the Spanish paella, but passionate about Sicilian cuisine, captain/chef Javi will blow you away with each day’s food selection. Only aboard a sailboat will you get to wake up anchored by a different island every day of your vacation.
Itinerary:
Sailing – From enjoying great island and ocean views (spotting a pod of dolphins is common!), to watching the captain and sailor at work, you'll learn first-hand the ins and outs of sailing. There's no other feeling like the one of being set in motion by the sole force of the wind!
Snorkeling – This is a coral reef archipelago, which means there’s plenty of life to be seen within inches of the surface. Tropical fish and other sea life will entertain and wow you all over the place. Plus, there’s a few shipwrecks you can swim to where all sorts of sea life have made their homes. These are fun to explore and are a treat to the eyes!
Beach lounging – White sand and turquoise water. Want more? Take a nap on a hammock hung between two palm trees. Thirsty? Let’s hook you up with a freshly cut coconut so you can drink the water and eat the meat of this delicious fruit.
Cultural interaction with a well preserved indigenous community – You’ll get to see the Kuna way of life and hopefully enjoy and participate (as much as we do!) in their life and culture. There’s a few more heavily populated islands where the daily living of town’s folk better depict the inner workings of the Kuna society. We’ll include these spots on the tour if that’s of interest to you.
Kayaking – There's nothing more relaxing than kayaking around the islands admiring the beautiful coral heads below. The barrier created by the reefs makes the water so still, at times it feels like you're kayaking on a lake.
Fishing – If you like to fish definitely bring your gear along and we’ll take you to the good spots. You can also try spear fishing with the Kunas if you’re willing to meet the challenge!
Go on, come here and live the dream!
